In the heat treatment process, precision injection molds are often deformed. In order to prevent this bad phenomenon, as long as you grasp the law of deformation, analyze its causes, and adopt different methods to prevent the deformation of the mold, it can be reduced, and it is also possible. Controlled, under normal circumstances, the heat treatment deformation of precision injection molds can be prevented by the following methods.

  

(1) Fair selection of materials. For precision injection molds, micro-deformed mold steels with good materials should be selected; mold steels with severe carbide segregation should be properly casted, and large and uncastable mold steels can be subjected to solid solution double refinement heat treatment. .


   (2) The mold structure design should be fair, the thickness should not be too large, and the shape should be symmetrical. For the larger deformed mold, the deformation law should be grasped and the processing allowance should be reserved. For large, precision injection molds, a combined structure can be used.


   (3) Pre-heat treatment of precision injection molds is required to eliminate residual stress generated during machining.


  (4) Choose the heating temperature reasonably and control the heating speed. For precision injection molds, slow heating, preheating and other balanced heating methods can be used to reduce the heat treatment deformation of the mold.


   (5) Under the condition of ensuring the hardness of the mold, try to use pre-cooling, injection mold graded cooling quenching or temperature quenching process.


   (6) For precision injection molds, if the prerequisite permits, try to use vacuum heating and quenching and cryogenic treatment after quenching.


  (7) Pre-heat treatment, aging heat treatment, tempering and nitriding heat treatment can be used for some sophisticated molds to control the accuracy of the mold.


   (8) When repairing mold blisters, pores, abrasion and other defects, use cold welders and other repair equipment with low heat impact to avoid deformation during the repair process.

  PE: The main products are mineral water bottle caps, PE fresh-keeping molds, milk bottles, etc.


  PVC: Mainly used plastic bags, packaging bags, drain pipes, etc.


  PS: Mainly used for printer housing, electrical appliance housing, etc.
